Everyday Encounter...

Shared by Marc: Salt of the Earth - Wildwood Kin On a roll today... Or at least playing catch-up with the ear-worms that shouted at me through ot all this week. I have been a Radio 2 man ever since Moyles and Co left Radio 1. I love it because I get a mox of the good new stuff, the classic tracks I can sing along to, and the random other genres I wouldn't otherwise seek out. This one is definitely on of the latter! Call me a dreamer if you like, but what would it mean if this was our prayer for the Church, that we would "rise up and take our place" and bring His "hope to this broken world"?
Anyone want to pray it in with me? Salt of the Earth - Wildwood Kin Step into the light, Don't hide in sorrow, stand up get ready to, fight, to fight You can proclaim what was lost will be won once again You are the salt of the earth, And the light in the dark, So won't you bring your hope to this broken world. Rise up and take your place, Go for it, Don't let adversity hinder your way, hinder your way, You can proclaim what was lost will be won once again, You are the salt of the earth, And the light in the dark, So won't you bring your hope to this broken You are the salt of the earth, And the light in the dark, So won't you bring your hope to this broken world, wo-orld, Don't conceal it, Let it be no, You are the strength to lead others home, It's not about pretention or home or heart, You can bring something that others cannot, You are the salt of the earth, And the light in the dark, So won't you bring your hope to this broken You are the salt of the earth And the light in the dark, So won't you bring your hope to this broken world, You are the salt of the earth, (You are the salt of the earth) And the light in the dark, (And the light in the dark) So won't you bring your hope to this broken world, (So won't you bring your hope to this broken world)
